Each variety is age separately for 4 years in American oak Sherry casks and then a further 4 years together as a blend. It shows a dark mahogany color due to the addition of the Pedro Ximenez. On the nose aromas of raisins, vanilla, oak and slight hints of hazelnuts. On the palate a delicate wine with a smooth reminder of dates and raisins, finishing with notes of caramel, oak and slight hints of nuts.
