Guado al Tasso, meaning literally "Badger's Ford," takes its name from the common sight of badgers at the estate where this wine is produced. The estate is located approximately 80 miles southwest of Florence, near the medieval town of Bolgheri.
Tasting Notes
The Antinori Guado al Tasso red wine is an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with captivating notes of sweet spices and small dark ripe fruit, licorice root, leather and tobacco. On the palate, the tannins are graceful: silky on entry and vibrant on the finish. Antinori's Guado al Tasso is harmonious with excellent balance and pleasantness.
