This 21 year old whisky started its journey maturing in American Oak Ex-bourbon barrels for fifteen years however, its distinctive character was created by an extended further maturation period. We meticulously hand-selected the finest Spanish Oak casks seasoned with Oloroso wine for the final six years of the aging process; imparting spiced, fruity flavors and a deep, rich color. 46% ABV
Tasting Notes
Pineapple and apricots intertwine with aromatic cinnamon and nutmeg followed by toffee apples and honey. A medley of tropical flavors of mango and pineapple laced with warming notes of cloves and ginger on the palate give way to a long and lingering finish with notes of dark chocolate and tropical fruit.
