Candoni Family is an family-run Italian winery, devoted to crafting wines of excellence for over 150 years. Our inspiration, "the joy of living," is the spirit behind the Candoni Etruscan Collection. The Etruscans, who lived in Italy more than 2,500 years ago, were the first to cultivate grapevines, leaving behind vibrant paintings of daily life and feasting that still inspire us today. Both the De Zan and Candoni families have been rooted in winemaking since the late 1800s. From the beginning, our forefathers instilled values of quality, integrity, and respect for the land, principles carried forward through each generation. Over the years, our passion has been enriched by experience, knowledge, and innovation, always guided by sustainable practices that protect the vineyards and territories we call home. Tasting Notes

Our organic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo has an intense ruby red, with brilliant violet highlights. On the nose it has hints of red fruit jam, black-berry and currant followed by vanilla and spicy notes. In the mouth it is full-bodied, long, persistent and velvety with soft pleasant tannins.
