Napa Valley's oldest winery was founded in 1861 by Charles Krug, the visionary father of Napa Valley winemaking. In 1943, Cesare and Rosa Mondavi purchased this iconic estate and built upon its reputation for innovation and uncompromising quality. Peter Mondavi Sr., proudly shepherded the winery for some 73 years, developing our prized estate vineyards throughout the Napa Valley. Today, we remain family-owned carrying the torch forward as stewards of this great estate, passionately perfecting an enduring legacy for generations to come.
Tasting Notes
This light-to-medium bodied wine displays vibrant aromas of white floral/lemon blossom, lemon verbena, honeydew melon, pink grapefruit, passionfruit, pink guava, lime skin and lemongrass. On the palate it is sweet and crisp, with flavors of pink grapefruit, guava, lemon blossom, bartlett pear, and lemon grass.
