Cockburn's Porto Tails Of The Unexpected Fine White Heights

Cockburn's is one of the classic Port Houses, established in 1815 by Robert Cockburn who first came to Portugal to fight in the Peninsular campaigns under Wellington. When he returned to Oporto after the campaigns, he was inspired to create his own Port firm. Today Cockburn's is 100% owned and managed by the fourth generation of the Symington family, who are today the largest landowners in Portugal's Douro Valley with over 4,000 acres.

Tasting Notes

Fresh tropical fruit flavors such as papaya and pineapple lead the way, supported by light aromas of honeysuckle. Crisp yellow plum and pear notes finish with a touch of vanilla.
