In 1972, Chuck Wagner started Caymus Vineyards with his parents, Lorna and Charlie Wagner Sr. Working together for decades, they established Caymus Cabernet as one of the region's most celebrated wines. Today, Caymus remains entirely family-run, and two of Chuck's children, Charlie and Jenny Wagner, now work alongside him. Together, the family is proud to offer a wide range of varietals under different labels.
Tasting Notes
On the nose, this wine brings in A balance of French plum and perfectly balanced, integrated wood. Fresh and lively. Whiffs of pastry with fresh berries. On the palate, this wine has Lush with flavors of plum. A true blend - harmoniously balanced so that it is hard to pick out the individual varietals. Soft, textural tannins.
