Our story begins on New Years Day, 1959. Our founder Don Jorge Salles Cuervo decided it was time to leave his own mark on this world. He wanted to craft a tequila born of passion and place. The passion to create only the finest quality tequila. The place the town of Tequila in the state of Jalisco - the birthplace of the world famous spirit that bears the same name. Over sixty five years later, El Tequileno is crafted in the same place using the same recipe.

Tasting Notes

AROMA: Toasted oak, vanilla, cooked agave, caramel, chocolate, nuts, cinnamon. TASTE: Toasted oak, notes of toasted almonds, pepper, and cinnamon. ENOY: Best enjoyed neat or in a specialized tequila glass.
