El Tesoro Tequila honors Don Felipe Camarena, who established La Altena Distillery in 1937, the home of El Tesoro. El Tesoro Tequila is "the treasure" of Jalisco, created in celebration of Don Felipe's most precious asset: his agaves. El Tesoro is exclusively made from agave grown in the mineral-rich soil of the highlands of Jalisco. El Tesoro distinguishes itself by being 100% Tahona crushed and double distilled to proof. Using the knowledge and passion passed down through three generations of master distillers, El Tesoro's artisanship, and dedication to the craft of the tequila is unmatched.
