The Glenmorangie whisky is distilled in the tallest copper pot stills in Scotland. The height of their necks alone is 5.14 metres, equivalent height to an adult giraffe. This means that when we distil our spirit, we collect only the finest and smoothest of spirit, as the heavier and impure alcohols fall back down the still.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Warm spices mix with smooth chocolate covered raisins, honeycomb and caramel toffee. Taste: Deliciously sweet sherry flavored sultanas, orange segments, walnuts and butterscotch combine to create complex warm spices. Finish: Long and satisfying finish with spiced orange and chocolate covered hazelnuts.
