Mezcal Montelobos was created by Ivan Saldana, PhD in Botany and agave specialist, and Don Abel Lopez Mateos, fifth generation of maestros mezcaleros, who worked together with obsessive dedication until producing a unique spirit by using a unique production process, using exclusively artisanal methods in order to get a product of surprising quality
Tasting Notes
This is our variant made from a blend of agaves. We echo the dark silver on the bottle in our visual expression. References to the type of agave (Papalote, Espaden and Tobala) and the taste notes help build the variant story.
