Tasting Notes
Sweet and fruity with remarkable cognac characteristics, it isn't until the mid palate where the American oak notes truly emerge. While the oak is clearly there, it isn't overpowering nor does it overwhelm the other flavors including vanilla, caramel, iris, ginger, and raisin. The ginger from the mid palate combines with the oak spice to lead the finish which is slightly spicy, soft, and easy with a sweet and light undertone of caramel and fruit.
