This natural amphitheater, bathed in sunlight and cooled by breezes from the Tinguiririca River, creates a microclimate ideal for slow, balanced ripening. The ancient soils, rich in granite and volcanic sediments, nurture pre-phylloxera Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere vines planted in 1890 and 1936 -among the oldest in Chile. Entirely organic and hand-harvested, these vines are cultivated with deep respect for nature's rhythm. Their ungrafted roots reach profound depths, capturing the mineral essence of the land and translating it into wines of exceptional purity, structure and soul. The winerie's philosophy honors time, balance and place. In the cellar, minimal intervention allows the terroir to speak - native yeast fermentations, gentle extraction and aging in large French oak barrels and concrete eggs preserve the natural harmony of fruit and earth. The result is a wine that bridges two worlds: the concentration and depth of the New World with the elegance and finesse of the Old.'

Tasting Notes

Primus Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from Alto Mapio, one of the best regions in Chile for this variety. Lively aromas of blackberry, blueberry and dried cherry intertwine with vanilla and cedar notes. A smooth silky texture with fine tannins and balance, providing a beautiful and lingering finish. Perfect with roast beef and lamb.
