Re Manfredi was established in 1998 in the heart of the Aglianico del Vulture DOC production area, just a few kilometres from Venosa. The plateau is dominated by the extinct volcano Vulture, whose lava, mixed with soil rich in clay, calcium, nitrogen and tuff, has given rise to an extremely suitable terroir in which complex and unique wines are born, characterised by a particular minerality and sapidity. The property covers 100 hectares of vineyards cultivated with native and allochthonous grapes, using the Guyot and spurred cordon systems. In the center stands an elegant and cosy masseria and next to it is the winery with a modern vinification plant and a prestigious barrique cellar where the wines are refined.
