Silvio Carta Vermouth

Named after the prestigious winemaker, Silvio Carta celebrates the territory, the culture, and the people of Sardinia. Every element of these unique vermouths come from this ancient Italian island. Dedicated to the Tre Bicchieri awarded Vernaccia di Oristano, Silvio Carta uses this acclaimed aged wine as the base for their flagship product. Respecting nature, the company is also certified GREEN ensuring it keeps a harmonious ecosystem of grapes, herbs, and botanicals for their products. Today the distillery is still a family owned and run by Elio Carta, son of the original founder Silvio Carta, and his nephews.

Tasting Notes

APPEARANCE: intense ebony. AROMA: The nose expresses multiple aromas of Mediterranean scrub, rosemary, laurel, pine needles, resins and pine nuts, on a background of light marine puffs. TASTE: Intense, soft and round, in perfect balance with the alcoholic note and full of returns, between herbs and ripe fruit, towards a decisive and clean finish that carries a long mineral trail behind it.
