Success was immediate, and in 1890, Ruffino was appointed by the Duke of Aosta as the official wine supplier to the Royal Court of Savoy, the Kings of Italy. In 1927, a selection of wine that had been reserved for the duke was labeled for the first time as Riserva Ducale. Today, Ruffino's mastery in winemaking is showcased through a unique and innovative portfolio of Italian wines.
