Vidal Fleury Chateauneuf Du Pape 2021

Founded in 1781 in the small town of Tupin-et-Semons, south of Lyon, Joseph Vidal established "Maison Vidal." Following this, the winery quickly gained international recognition, notably through its connections with America & in 1787, U.S. Ambassador Thomas Jefferson visited the winery & praised the wines as "justly celebrated." In 1984, the Guigal family acquired the winery, continuing the history of collaboration while appointing Erienne Guigal as winemaker & cellar master in 1924. Today, Vidal-Fleury is managed by general manager & head winemaker, Antoine Dupre, who has vitalized the strategy & vision of the brand.

Rich & full-bodied with broad yet well-integrated tannins balanced by a smooth, rounded texture. Powerful yet elegant structure with a refined finish.
