Tasting Notes

Vina AB is a young Amontillado aged in American oak 600l Sherry casks. It is aged for 5 years under flor as a Fino, they flor then dies off naturally allowing the wine to have contact with oxygen. It is aged for a total of 12 years. As a result, it shows a light amber color. On the nose subtle and delicate with typical Palomino aromas of nuts, in this case hazelnuts and slight reminders of yeast due to its time under flor. On the palate Vina AB shows subtle notes of oak with a pleasant balanced acidity and slightly bitter finish. Excellent with white meats, rice dishes and foods difficult to match such as artichokes and asparagus. Serve chilled.
