Will Call American Whiskey (45% ABV) sources distillate from MGP in Indiana. The corn dominant mash bill (89% corn, 10% rye, and 1% malted barley) then goes through a craft maturation process in San Francisco, CA using new American Oak micro staves. While paying homage to the vanguard artisans who came before us, Bespoken Spirits upcycles the natural elements of maturation-using 99% less energy, 97% less wood and 20% less water than traditional barrel aging.
Tasting Notes
Appearance Warm amber Aroma Dynamic, sweet, and supple. Raw honey, ripe plum, white flowers, light toast, and new oak. Palate Starts fresh and bright, leading to a bold and gripping citrus-dominant mid-palate padded by juicy stone fruits. Fresh apricot, bitter orange peel, and burnt sugar. Finish Bitter orange and new wood. Persistent, citrus oil finish.
