Wyoming Whiskey is born of the land, crafted by fourth-generation cattle ranchers Brad and Kate Mead and co-founder David DeFazio, who shared a vision to create a whiskey that embodies the spirit of Wyoming. Every drop is distilled, barreled, and bottled in the small town of Kirby, Wyoming, using time-honored methods and locally sourced ingredients. Our whiskey begins with non-GMO corn, wheat, and barley grown in the Big Horn Basin, and is made with limestone-filtered water drawn from a mile-deep, pristine aquifer near our distillery. Aged for a minimum of five years, our barrels mature in Wyoming's extreme climate-where wild temperature swings and dry air accelerate aging and deepen complexity. Founded in 2009, Wyoming Whiskey is the first legal distillery in the state.
